Happy Birthday September!

Yeah, you read that right. September is birthday month in this family. With 3/5 of the family having birthdays, it just kind of has to happen. Although I really do hope at some point mine will be forgotten. Although I'm thinking it's not going to anytime soon.

This is the LAST year I will be aging.
Did everyone hear that? I'll say it again a little louder just incase...

Okay, now that we got that out of the way, yes this year I will turn 29.

Nathan always tells me that when he's all done with 3 he will be 4. So with that logic, I will never be all done with 29.

This photo was taken one year ago this weekend. We're actually going here again this weekend too! It's been our family vacation spot all year. I love this place. I cannot believe how big these boys are getting. I cannot believe that I have a first grader. That my boys are getting so big, it seems like just yesterday they entered the world {early}.

Okay the weird birthday story.

So my birthday is on the 6th of September.

My oldest, Samuel, was born on the 7th. No he wasn't planned for that day. His actual due date was October 22. He was 7 weeks early, and spent 3 weeks in the NICU after an emergency c-section. There was nothing wrong, I just went into labor and he was breech. God was in total 100% control the entire time.

Next came Nathan, he was born on the 8th. No, he wasn't planned for that day either. His actual due date was September 30. After having one early I thought for sure Nathan would arrive much earlier than he did. I actually went to the hospital many times ready to have him. Then it came close to the birthdays and I thought, he needs to wait. I remember posting on facebook the night of the 7th that I would not leave the house until I was in labor {in the cranky over pregnant lady voice---see I'd already been pregnant 4 weeks longer than the last time}. I left the house not even 8 hours later for the hospital! See miracles do happen!

Then Jonah...poor Jonah, his birthday is in April. I really tried for a February baby so the hubs had someone to share his month with, but he was a little late.
